I'm a photographer based in Bristol. As to what I photograph, well.... it varies.

I've never been happy with formal photography... portraits, studio sessions..... weddings. Partly because it costs a hell of a lot to put together your own studio, partly because once you have all the gear it takes an age to set up and partly because I simply don't like directing subjects for a shoot.

The solution? Documentary photography! For me this can be anything from shooting a band on stage through to a demonstration on the street. Suddenly the focus switches from delivering a perfectly lit studio shot to conveying the (often intense) atmosphere of the event you're covering.

Thankfully, Bristol has plenty of subjects on offer.

I also provide a Retouching service for those photos that could do with a little love and care to bring out their full potential. This could range from basic colour correction all the way through to a full make-over.
